OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart church for Gerald Benischek, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Benischek. Baby died Friday evening in Mercy hospital, Davenport, where he had been taken with a serious case of measles, which developed into pneumonia.

Rev. Joseph Gregor conducted the service and burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Gerald was born Sept. 20, 1947, in Mercy hospital, Davenport. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and a sister; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Benischek, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Ruhotzke, all of Oxford Junction.
