MONTICELLO - Leo Francis O'Rourke, 47, died Friday evening, July 26, at John McDonald hospital. He was a farmer in the Monticello community until three years ago when he moved to a farm three miles northwest of Dyersville.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, July 29, from Sacred Heart church in Monticello with burial at the Sacred Heart cemetery.

Leo O'Rourke was born Dec. 4, 1915 at Castle Grove, the son of John and Margaret Leonard O'Rourke. He was married to the former Julia Kirby.

Survivors include his widow and an only son both of the home; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. John O'Rourke of Hopkinton. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
