Funeral service for William Fay, 85, was held from St. James Catholic church at Kearney, Nebr., on Aug. 26. Mr. Fay died on Aug. 24.

Attending the funeral from Anamosa were his brother, Maurice Fay, and his sister, Miss Agnes Fay.

Mr. Fay was born in Jones county, Jan. 24, 1862, and resided here until 1886 when he located in Kearney, Nebr. Mr. Fay was engaged in the business of real estate and livestock until his retirement two years ago.

He is survived by his widow, Mary Hammond Fay and his sister and brother, Maurice and Miss Agnes Fay, Anamosa. One son died in infancy.
