Ed J. Michels, 87, former resident of the Anamosa area, died Friday, Nov. 27, at Dowagiac, Mich. after suffering a stroke two weeks earlier.

He had been a resident of Dowagiac for several years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 1:30 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. J. Ellis Webb will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Springville cemetery.

Survivors include one brother and several nieces and nephews.
