OLIN - Funeral service for Mrs. Clarence F. Mitchell, 70, who died on Dec. 10, was held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Olin Evangelical United Brethren church, with Rev. M. Lloyd Dutro, pastor, in charge.

Mrs. Leon Stivers sang "Going Down the Valley" and "Good Night and Good Morning," accompanied by Miss Mary Ann Ingwersen, pianist. Casket bearers were Hermie Hotz, Charles Lyon, Claire Ralston, Jesse Starry, Melvin Starry and Laverne Simmons.

Trillie Mabel Simmons, daughter of Jacob and Martha Simmons, was born May 13, 1877, in Jones county. She was married Sept. 5, 1894, to Clarence F. Mitchell at Anamosa. She was ill only a few hours before she died.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Smith, Olin; two sisters, Mrs. William Starry, Tallahassee, Fla., and Mrs. Frank Starry, Wyoming, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Lela Freeman and Mrs. Bertha Hunter, preceded her in death.
