SPRINGVILLE - Funeral service for Mrs. John A. Moyer, 67, who died Wednesday, May 7, was held Friday at Forest chapel, with Rev. Charles B. Willming officiating.

Casket bearers were Robert Potter, James Moyer, Lawrence Covington, Delbert Merrill, Harold Stiener and Donald Brink.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Ora Abigail Gage, eldest daughter of Rachel Roseann Wink and Lemuel J. Gage, was born in Jones county Sept. 17, 1879.

She was married on Dec. 22, 1898, in Linn county and couple made their homes both in Linn and Jones counties. She was a member of Women's Society of Christian Service of the Viola and Springville Methodist churches.

She is survived by her husband; five children, Mrs. Etta M. Potter and Mrs. Lester V. Covington, Anamosa; Mrs. Russel Eden and Albert M. Moyer, Central City, and Mrs. Pearl R. McMann, Springville.

Twenty-eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lona Covington, Coggon, and three brothers, Roy Gage, Oregon; Frank Gage, Mount Vernon and Edgar Gage, Springville.
