OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Mrs. Herman Krenz, 76, was held Monday afternoon in the church at Massillon at 2 p.m.

Rev. Wesley J. Buck, Oxford Junction, conducted the service. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

Mrs. Krenz died last Friday evening in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hodgden, Oxford Mills, after a long period of illness.

She was born Clara Rogers near Toronto, Jan. 28, 1870, and was united in marriage to Herman Krenz on Aug. 2, 1893. They lived for many years near Massillon. She is survived by her husband, one son, Clyde Krenz, Lisbon; one daughter, Mrs. Hodgden; a brother, Howard Rogers, Oxford Junction; two sisters, Mrs. D. Cave, Oxford Mills and Mrs. Lucy Ritchey, Toronto.

Singers were Mrs. Otto Koranda and Mrs. Louis Ingwersen, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lewis Hayden.

Those serving as casket bearers were Chris Hamdorf, Aca Bright, Vern Hodgden, William Hamdorf, Henry Struck and Charles Hodgden.
