Frank H. Burgert, 72, former owner of the Korn Krib, died early Saturday morning at Mercy hospital where he was taken on Friday suffering with a severe heart attack.

Funeral service was held Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Rev. J. A. McMahon officiated at the mass. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery at Mechanicsville.

Mr. Burgert sustained a heart attack several months ago but had returned 15 days ago to his home and was able to be up around his home.

He was born on Nov. 7, 1874 at Mechanicsville. For the last eight years he had operated the Korn Krib, coming here from Minnesota.

His widow is the only close surviving relative.

Casket bearers were Ted Lusson, Michael O'Toole, Charles Rahn, John McCrea, Milton Chesire and Merle Rawson.

Rosary service was recited Sunday night at the McNamara Funeral home, which had charge of the service.
