WYOMING - Funeral services for Chris A. Hansen, 83, were held at the Zion American Lutheran church on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 1:30 p.m.

Rev. Robert Ahrens was clergyman.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lacock were vocalists and were accompanied by Mrs. Lafeyette Bahnsen, organist.

Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Rohwedder, Freddie Pegoirck, Martin Petersen, John M. Petersen, Fred Buchholtz, Gene Young.

Christian August Hansen, the son of Christian and Anna Ingwersen Hansen, was born in Hatfstedt, Germany on Jan. 31, 1881. He came to America in 1895. On Feb. 26, 1908 he was married to Jennie Thomsen in Davenport. He spent many years farming in the Wyoming vicinity.

He was associated with the Citizens State bank at Wyoming as director beginning in 1929. He became president of the bank in 1942 and served until his death.

Mr. Hansen died at the John McDonald hospital in Monticello on Tuesday, Aug. 18, following a short illness.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Richard Schlegel, Mrs. Henry Sievert, Mrs. Frank Kaufmann, all of Davenport; and Mrs. F. N. Banitch, Cedar Grove, N.J.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two sisters.
