WYOMING - Funeral service for Gorrest Hutton, 69, who died Tuesday evening, Dec. 11, in Mercy hospital, Anamosa, was held in the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. F. E. Somerville in charge. Mr. Hutton had been in the hospital five weeks with a fractured pelvis.

Mr. Hutton was born Sept. 27, 1878, in the Onslow community and always lived in this vicinity with the exception of several years spent near Hopkinton. He farmed until several years ago. He then worked in defense plants and for a time was employed in a Wyoming store. He was a member of the Methodist church and of the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges. He held office in the Odd Fellow lodge for many years.

Survivors are his wife, Cora French Hutton, and one sister, Mrs. Cleo Dunbar, Woodland, Calif. A brother, Albert, died several years ago.
