OXFORD JUNCTION - Clyde N. Hayden, 65, died Tuesday after a long illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Hayden was born at Olin, Oct. 23, 1881, and came to Oxford Junction in 1918. He was in the furniture and undertaking and business here for 28 years, and was a former member of the school board.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Sazma; a son, Lewis; a daughter, Mrs. John McGuire, and two grandchildren, all of Oxford Junction, and a sister, Mrs. Nelle Cranford, Marengo.

OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Clyde N. Hayden, 65, was held last Thursday afternoon in the Hayden funeral home, Oxford Junction.
Rev. F. J. Mittler, Clarence, conducted the service. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Fred Sacora and Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. G. J. Bees. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Grace Stuhr, Mrs. Vern Cram, Mrs. Thomas Hunwardsen and Mrs. Fred Harms. Masonic service, held at the home, was in charge of Howard Dewell, Clarence.
Casket bearers were Fred Harms, Otto Koranda, John Carstensen, Fred Barto, Oxford Junction; G. E. Leffingwell, Lost Nation, and R. E. Hill, Des Moines. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.
