OXFORD JUNCTION - Mrs. Mary Henek, 81, former Oxford Junction resident, died suddenly at her home at Cedar Falls. Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Oxford Junction. Burial was made in Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Henek was born on a farm north of Oxford Junction and lived there until 25 years ago when she moved to Cedar Falls.

Surviving are a son, Fred, Lohrville; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Garst, Coon Rapids, and Mrs. Blanche Whitford, Cedar Falls; two brothers, Henry Shimerda, Oxford Junction, and Charles, Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Frances McMahon, Wyoming, and Mrs. Elizabeth Zinn, Arlington Heights, Ill. and 12 grandchildren.
