MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Herman Fredick Peterson, 66, were held Sunday afternoon at Wayne Zion Lutheran church, rural Monticello. The Rev. Luther Wachholz officiated. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello.

Mr. Peterson died Feb. 12 at John McDonald hospital, Monticello, where he had been a patient 10 days. He was born Sept. 1, 1898, at Center Jct., the son of Ferdinand and Louise Holtz Peterson. He was married Sept. 1, 1898, to Grace Catherine Antons. They lived all their married life on a farm near Center Jct.

He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Ella) Von Sprecken, Olin and Mrs. Henry (Ida) Boner, Center Jct.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a sister.
