MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Mrs. Ray L. (Lillian Rose) Adams, 64, were held Wednesday afternoon at First Presbyterian church. The Rev. John Benj. Wild officiated. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Adams died Sunday morning at her home in Monticello. She had been ill several years. She was born May 27, 1900 at Monticello, the daughter of Ulysess and Rose Beiri Maire. She was married Jan. 15, 1919 to Ray L. Adams of Monticello. They farmed for a number of years near Monticello and had lived in town the past 15 years.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church, VFW auxiliary, American Legion auxiliary and the Monticello Garden club.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Eugene and Glenn, both of Monticello; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Keil of Pekin, Ill. and Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Kearns of Fort Dodge, eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Olin Howie of Monticello and Mrs. Merle Knight of Marion.

Her parents, five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were Louie Hanken, Russell Suter, Richard Hanken, Clarence Eberhart, Alva Freese and Irving Hintz.
