WYOMING - William "Willey" Paul Thomsen, 62, Wyoming, died on Monday, Feb. 15, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 18, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hayden Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. Wayne Norris conducted the service. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery. Mrs. Bernadine Smith was organist.

Pallbearers included Claude Sears, Leonard Serbousek, Dr. Paul Koch, George Topping, Raymond Dose and Frederick Engelking.

He was born Jan. 1, 1903, son of Thomas and Edna Wolfe Thomsen on a farm west of Wyoming. He received his schooling in the Wyoming schools.

Dec. 22, 1932, he was married to Mary Strong. Couple made their home on the farm west of Wyoming where he was born.

Survivors include his wife, an aunt, Mrs. Anna Nissen, Wyoming; an uncle, Augustus Wolfe, Brandwine, Md.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
