WYOMING - Ben L. Warren, 81, Wyoming, died Monday, Feb. 8, at his home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m., at the Wyoming Methodist church. Rev. Nevin E. Williams conducted the service. Burial was in the South Mineral cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by the I.O.O.F. lodge.

Pallbearers included Myron French, William Peck, James Willman, George McCalmant, Reggie Morse and Don Tasker.

He was born Dec. 23, 1883, son of James and Louise Conley Warren, Jones county. In 1921 he was married to Ina Mae Kerr, Maquoketa.

In 1917 he joined the I.O.O.F. lodge at Onslow and received a 50-year Jewel in 1957. He was a member of the Jackson Canton lodge No. 62 and Camp at Maquoketa. He was active in all three branches of the lodge. He also received the Decoration of Chivalry.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Siex, Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Otto Allen, Wyoming; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and sisters, one son, Leo, killed in Military service; and one daughter who died in infancy.
