Harry Peter "Mickey" Doyle died at his home at 316 E. Washington St. in Monticello June 2 following a long illness. Rosary services were held Monday evening at the Goettsch funeral home and the body was taken to Fulton, Ill. Tuesday for services from the Immaculate Conception Catholic church there June 5. Burial was made at the Calvary Hill cemetery at Fulton.

Born Dec. 24, 1896 at Freeport, Ill., he was the son of Peter and Katherine Egan Doyle. He was reared in that area and later was employed as a railroad conductor. On Dec. 29, 1927, he was married to Edna Corbett of Monticello and their home was made here. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Survivors include his wife Edna at home in Monticello; his mother Mrs. Katharine Buckley of Chicago; a brother, George Doyle, Morristown, N.J.; a step brother John Buckley of Chicago and a step sister, Ruth, Mrs. Burt Bowman also of Chicago.
