Double service for Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Dripps, who were found dead in their home in Los Angeles last Saturday, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Smykil Home for Funerals, with Rev. Edgar E. Walker, jr., Methodist church pastor in charge. Burial will be in Linn Grove cemetery, Springville. Service for the couple was held Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Mr. and Mrs. Dripps, former Anamosa residents, moved to California about five years ago. He was 69 years old and Mrs. Dripps was 78. Circumstances surrounding their death are not clear but it is thought they died from escaping gas fumes. Mr. Dripps was found lying on a studio couch in the dining room of their home and his wife was on the kitchen floor.

Mrs. Dripps, the former Eva Starry, was born near Olin and is a sister of Mrs. F. M. Grafft, Anamosa. She was married to James Myers before her marriage in 1932, to Mr. Dripps.

Two children survive, Mrs. John Port, near Springville, and Albert Myers, San Diego, Calif.

Mrs. Dripps is survived by two brothers, J. L. Starry, Olin, and Ray Starry, Marion, and a sister Mrs. H. G. Cole, Mechanicsville.

Mr. Dripps' survivors include a brother, Clayton Dripps, Olin, and a sister, Mrs. Birdie Reynolds, Los Angeles.

Funeral service for W. H. Dripps, 67, and his wife, Eva Starry Dripps, 78, former Anamosa residents who died Dec. 31 in their home at Los Angeles, Calif., was held Saturday afternoon in the Smykil Home for Funerals, Anamosa. Rev. Edgar E. Walker, jr., Methodist church pastor, officiated. Burial was in Linn Grove cemetery, Springville.

Casket bearers for Mr. Dripps were Ivan Raymond, David Taylor, Norman Facon, Merle Stewart, Ralph Stewart and C. A. Port.

Nephews of Mrs. Dripps served as her casket bearers. They were Lee Bruce, Loyal Byerly, Lee Voorhies, Marian Grafft, Fred Kauffman and Leland Starry.

Mr. Dripps who born near Morley on Jan. 29, 1880, and Mrs. Dripps, the former Eva Starry, was born Oct 18, 1869, near Olin. They were married in July, 1932, and moved to California five years ago. Mr. Drips was a building contractor.

Mr. Dripps is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Port, Springville; a sister, Mrs. Bertie Reynolds, Los Angeles, and four brothers, Marvin and Stanley Dripps, Mesa, Ariz., Clayton Dripps, Olin, and Earl Dripps, Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Dripps is survived by a son, Albert Myers, San Diego, Calif., by a previous marriage; a granddaughter; two brothers, J. L. Starry, Olin, and Raymond Starry, Marion, and two sisters, Mrs. F. M. Grafft, Anamosa, and Mrs. H. G. Cole, Mechanicsville.
