George Dorsey, former Anamosa resident, died early Saturday in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a long illness. George, son of James and Mary Dorsey was born at Anamosa, and was well known in Jones county.

Rosary was received Sunday afternoon at a Cedar Rapids mortuary by the Daughters of Isabella and at 8 p.m. by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. M. Molloy.

He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus at Anamosa.
