WYOMING - Funeral services for George M. Hogeboom, 85, who died last Monday in the home of his son in Moline, Ill., were held Wednesday afternoon from the Harrington Funeral home in Wyoming with burial in the Wyoming cemetery.

Deceased was born Sept. 14, 1860 in Scotch Grove township, Jones county. He spent most of his life in Wyoming, where he conducted a bakery and restaurant. He retired from his business to his farm, one mile north of Wyoming, where he lived until the ill health of Mrs. Hogeboom necessitated their removal to town.

He was a member of the Methodist church and of the Masonic lodge and served as township trustee for many years.

He is survived by one son, Nial, Moline. His wife and a son, John, preceded him in death.
