OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in the Methodist church for Mrs. Ray Blythe, 48, who died Friday evening in the University hospital at Iowa City. Rev. E. J. Steinman, Wyoming, conducted the service. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Fred Lasack, Mrs. Carl Hulke and Mrs. Fred Sacora, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. G. J. Bees. Pallbearers were Robert Barber, Vince Lasack, Robert Rehmke, Amos Hodgen, Fred McClure and Vern Hodgen. Interment was in the cemetery at Niger Point.

Mrs. Blythe was born Irma Muriel Wilkin, daughter of Charles and Eleanor Wilkin, near Olin. She was united in marriage to Ray Blythe at Anamosa Oct.7, 1920, and they had always made their home in the rural community near Oxford Junction. She had been ill for the last three months and been in the hospital for seven weeks.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Milota, Oxford Junction, and Mrs. Eleanor Nowachek, Monmouth; two sons, Dallas and David, Oxford Junction. One son, Donald, preceeded her in death in 1930. Her mother, Mrs. Eleanor Wilkins, Wyoming, also survives, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lietz, Wyoming, and Mrs. Orpha Peabody, Sedalia, Mo., also one grandson Gilbert Ray Milota.
