OLIN - Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Strawman, 90, were held Thursday afternoon at Hayden Funeral home with the Rev. Lloyd Dutro, pastor of the E.U.B. church, officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Anamosa.

Mrs. Strawman died Dec. 28 at the convalescent home in Oxford Jct. She was born in October 1874 in Jones county, the daughter of Nelson and Emily Hakes. She was married to Charlie Strawman more than 62 years ago. They had farmed in the Forest community south of Anamosa most of their life.

Survivors include two sons: Elmer of Anamosa and Howard of California; one daughter, Luella, also of California; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Underwood, Waterloo.
