Funeral service for Miss Darlene Schone, 21, who died Friday at 12:30 a.m. in Mercy hospital as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident the previous Sunday, was held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's church, Anamosa.

Rev. Robert Swift celebrated the high requiem high mass. Casket bearers were Cletus and Francis McNamara, Sammy Edwards, Preston Myers, Vernon Achenbach and Dick Ireland. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery.

Miss Schone had her pelvis broken and suffered internal injuries when the car in which was riding with Donald Siebels, Monticello, struck a bridge abutment on Highway 64, three miles east of Anamosa. Car reportedly skidded on wet pavement.

She is survived by her parents and a 13-year-old brother, Robert.
