WYOMING - Funeral service for Mrs. Clayton Sherrill, 52, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30 in her home near Wyoming after a long illness, was held Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Methodist church. Rev. F. E. Somerville officiated. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mabel Coleman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Coleman, was born May 6, 1895, in Rome township, and with the exception of three years in Linn county, spent all her life in this vicinity. She was married Feb. 16, 1916. She was a member of the Methodist church, Hale, and the American Legion auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; a brother, Leon Coleman, and a sister, Mrs. George Topping, both Wyoming. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
