OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the English Lutheran church for Mrs. John Scheidness, 35, Chicago, former Oxford Junction resident.

Rev. F. J. Mittler, Clarence, conducted the service. Singers were Mrs. Louis Ingwersen and Mrs. Otto Koranda, with Mrs. Palmer Vaughn as pianist.

In charge of floral arrangements were six nieces, Donna Mae Zaruba, Lenora Zaruba, Evelyn and Margaret Leslie, Mrs. Mildred Berner and Mrs. Lawrence Kuehl. Casketbearers, all cousins, were Louis, Joe and John Buresh, Louis and Ed Benhart and Fred Barto. Interment was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Scheidness, died in St. Joseph's hospital, Chicago, on Friday, Aug. 15, after a long illness.

Evelyn Buresh was born June 9, 1912, near Oxford Junction, the daughter of George and Anna Buresh. In June, 1935, she was married to John Scheidness and made her home in Chicago. She was a member of the Z.C.B.J. lodge.

Surviving are her husband; six sisters, Mrs. Margaret Leslie, Mrs. Joe Balichek, Miss Anne Buresh, Mrs. Joe Zaruba, Mrs. Louis Divoky, all of Oxford Junction and Miss Louise Buresh, Chicago, and three brothers, Fred, Albert and George Buresh, Oxford Junction.
