Funeral service for Fred Schreiber, 84, who died at the Jones county home last Sunday, was held last Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Smykil Home for Funerals. Rev. Barney C. Crockett, Congregational pastor, was in charge of the service.

Burial was at Sigourney Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Schreiber was born at Quincy, Ill., on May 23, 1863, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Schreiber.

Before retiring to Anamosa, Mr. Schreiber was in the automobile business in Cedar Rapids. His wife, Luetta, preceded him in death in 1945.

Survivors include three children, Mrs. Lillian Grimm, Merriam, Kan.; Elizabeth R. Schreiber and Harry M. Schreiber, Kansas City, Mo.; and two brothers, Edward and George Schreiber, both of Quincy, Ill.
