OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Mrs. John Starman, 69, Denver, Colo., a former Oxford Junction resident, was held Wednesday afternoon in the Hayden Funeral home.

Mrs. Starman died Monday in Denver after a long illness.

Service was conducted by Rev. C. V. R. DeJong, Marion. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

Mary Fritz was born Nov. 1, 1887, at Oxford Junction and moved to Marion with her parents 33 years ago. She was a stenographer in the Linn county clerk's office and in the offices of the Cedar Rapids board of education before her marriage in November, 1934.

She was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church and the Marion Eastern Star chapter.

She is survived by her husband and one sister, Mrs. Henry Zak, Marion.
