Funeral service for Ernest Weighels, 52, will be held Friday at the Smykil Home for Funerals at 2 p.m.

Mr. Weighels died at the home of his father, Frank Weighels, east of Anamosa, Tuesday at noon. He had been seriously ill with a heart ailment for several months.

Rev. Walter D. Wigger will be in charge of the service. Burial will be in the Antioch cemetery.

Besides his father, he is survived by a brother, Roy, Anamosa grocer, and a sister, Miss Lula Weighels, at home. His mother died in 1931.

Mr. Weighels was born Oct. 7, 1895 in Jackson township and spent his entire life in that community. He was engaged in farming with his father.
