OLIN - Don Ray Whitmore, 701 14th St. S.E., Cedar Rapids, an employee of the Krebs Dairy Co. and a Cedar Rapids resident for 30 years, died at his home Wednesday at 9 a.m. following a brief illness.

Mr. Whitmore was born June 18, 1880, at Olin, and was married to Lula G. Mason on April 11, 1906, at Marion.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Blanche I. Whitmore, Cedar Rapids; three sons, Ralph L., Germany, Eugene A., and Gail F. Whitmore, both of Cedar Rapids, besides four grandchildren.

Mr. Whitmore was a member of the American War Dads, and was a graduate of the Olin high school and the Cedar Rapids business college.

Funeral services will be held in Turner chapel Friday at 1:30 .m. Services will be held at Olin at Campbell funeral home at 3:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Carroll C. Roberts. Burial will be made in the Olin cemetery at Olin. Friends may call at Turner chapel.
