OLIN - Funeral service for W. C. Peck, 63, was held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon with Rev. W. E. Strait in charge. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. Pallbearers were D. Stingley, L. J. Rohwedder, F. C. Dripps, H. E. Carter, E. H. Lawson and R. Moreland.

William C. Peck was born March 24, 1882, at Olin, son of L. H. and Anna E. Peck. He married Esther F. Easterly in 1902. He was engaged in the restaurant business for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1939. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Helen Stivers, Des Moines; Mrs. Ruth Miller, Earlville, and Mrs. Paul Wentzil; four grandsons, two in military service; four granddaughters; one brother, Ernest, Olin; and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Seeger, Morley and Mrs. Edgar Jurgensen, Blairstown.
