Funeral service for Mrs. William Foley was held at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Anamosa, Tuesday morning. Mrs. Foley died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Albert Robert at San Bernardino, Calif., on August 8. She had been ill for over a year and a half.

Mrs. Foley was born April 27, 1877 in Canada, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shaul. Surviving besides the daughter is a son Eugene who lives on the west coast. Her husband died on Sept. 1, 1943.

Burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery. Pall bearers were Glenn J. McLaughlin, John McNamara, Edwin Wegman, Charles Tyler, William Folkerts and Eugene Rees.

Funeral mass was read by Rev. Father John A. McMahon assisted by Rev. Father Ivan J. Boyd. Sermon was given by the Rev. Father Keffler of Watkins, a former pastor of St. Patrick's church.

Funeral was in charge of the McNamara funeral home.
