Mrs. Bessie Zimmerman, ??, widow of Howard Zimmerman, died at her home in Cedar Rapids Monday following a brief illness. Funeral service is being held at Turner chapel at two o'clock this Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Marvin Kober officiating. Burial will be made in Highland cemetery near Anamosa.

Born Nov. 2, 18??, in Jones Co., she was married Dec. 20, 1905, to Howard H. Zimmerman, who died in February 1944.

Surviving are two daughters, Jeanne and Marilyn, both of home; two sisters, Mrs. Jay Holcomb, Anamosa, and Mrs. Florence Jackson, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church in Cedar Rapids, and Circle Nine of the Women's society of Christian service there.
