Ashes of William Lamb, 74, who died Monday at his home in Des Moines, will be brought to Anamosa this Thursday and Masonic service will be conducted at Riverside cemetery at 4 p.m.

He was born and raised in Jones county, and conducted a hardware store in Anamosa for many years, leaving about 20 years ago.

Surviving are wife, Maud Joslin Lamb; a daughter, Mrs. Robert McElderry, Los Angeles; two sons, Marion Lamb, Chicago, and Curtis Lamb, Des Moines; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
