Funeral service for Mrs. Fred Lubben, 37, who died suddenly Friday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, was held Monday afternoon at the Wayne Lutheran church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. F. H. Kehren officiated and the Smykil Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Clara Deloris Larson was born Oct. 11, 1907, near Anamosa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Larson. She was first married to Raymond Cole, who died in 1931. She married Fred Lubben Feb. 25, 1940.
Surviving are her husband, six children, Eleanor Cole Day, Jean Rae and Lois Mae Cole, Edwin Frederick Lubben, and twins James and John Lubben, four weeks old; her parents, one sister, Mrs. Emil Pillard, and three brothers, Harold, Dale and Ray Larson.
