Funeral service for John Henry Zimmerman, 72, who died Tuesday afternoon at a Monticello hospital, after a two months illness with heart disease, will be held Friday afternoon. Service at his home near Monticello will begin at 1 p.m., and at the Wayne Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Rev. F. H. Kehren will officiate. Burial will be made in the Wayne Lutheran cemetery.

Surviving are his wife; and six children, Eliza, Mrs. Boyd Shannon, Monticello; Herman, Monticello; Clara, Mrs. John Reiken, Monticello; Emil, Anamosa; Lorene, Mrs. Dean McDonald, Center Junction; Lester, at home and 12 grandchildren.
