Mrs. Harry P. Smith, 72, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Gray, Anamosa, died at Marion last Tuesday evening following a long illness.

Funeral service was held Friday and burial made in Cedar Memorial park.

Born Susie Gray, Sept. 3, 1872, at Anamosa, she was married here Dec. 10, 1893. They moved to Marion in 1910, where she has since resided. She was a member of the Marion Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Clark, Marion; a son, Lyman A. Smith, Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Gibson, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Nellie Reep, Marion, and Mrs. Margaret McClout, Charles City; two brothers, Wallace and Harry Gray, Anamosa; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
