Mrs. H. F. Dearborn, 83, Des Moines, died at her home Sunday, June 24, after an extended illness. She was brought to her former home at Stone City. Requiem high mass was sung by the Rev. Becker, pastor of St. Joseph's church at Stone City, Wednesday at 9 a.m. Burial was at Riverside cemetery. Loder Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Dearborn was a long time resident of this community.

Surviving besides her husband, H. F. Dearborn, are four sons, J. W., C. H. and H. F., all of Stone City, and Irvin, Whiting, Ind., and five daughters, Mrs. L. C. Fowler and Mrs. L. W. Brickley, both of Anamosa, and the Misses Alice, Florence and Bertha, who made their home with their mother in Des Moines. One son, Harry, preceded her in death. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Six of her grandsons, James, Ray, Donald and Pat Dearborn, Hobert Fowler and Howard Taylor served as pallbearers. Five brothers also survive, F. E., W. I., E. W. and James Farrell, all of Des Moines, and Tom, Louisville, Ky., and two sisters, Mrs. L. H. Akers, Des Moines, and Mrs. J. J. Troy, Marion.
