Funeral service for Mrs. William G. Donnelly, 40, who died Tuesday morning in a Fort Dodge hospital following a long illness, was held this Thursday morning from St. Patrick's church in Anamosa with burial in Holy Cross cemetery. McNamara home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 28, 1905, at Clinton, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hilbrant. Her parents preceded her in death. She attended school at Havanna and Champagne, Ill, and graduated from a beauty operator's school in Chicago, Ill.

She was married July 24, 1929. Family came to Anamosa to live in 1932, where Mr. Donnelly was in the orchestra business. In 1935 he became city marshall, position which he held until 1942, when he accepted a position in the insurance department of the Knights of Columbus lodge. Family moved to Fort Dodge in September, 1942, where they still make their home.

Surviving are her husband; three children, William, jr., 14; Mary, 13; and James, 9; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Huff, Clinton, Ill.; and Mrs. Bernice Langdale, Barrington, Ill.; and two brothers, Clifford and Junior Hilbrant, both residing in Florida.
