OXFORD JUNCTION - Mrs. Lumir Shimanek, 37, died Thursday afternoon at 4:30 in a hospital at Superior, Wis. Body was brought to Tipton Saturday evening and funeral service was held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Gable, Wednesday afternoon. Interment in the Cedar Memorial cemetery at three o'clock in Cedar Rapids.

Ruth Gable was born in Oxford Junction, Dec. 21, 1907, and was graduated from the Oxford Junction high school, and the Cedar Rapids business college, being employed later with secretarial work in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of Cedar chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars and the White Shrine of Cedar Rapids.

She was united in marriage to Joe Lenfeldt of Oxford Junction in 1934, and they made their home in Oxford Junction until the time of his death in 1939. Later she married Lumir Shimanek, Oxford Junction, and for the last three years they have been living in Superior, Wis., where Mr. Shimanek was employed in war work.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Gable, Tipton; a sister, Mrs. William Horstman, Toronto, Ia., and a brother, O. A. Gable, coxswain in the navy.
