OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral service was held Thursday morning from the Sacred Heart church for Floyd Michael Soppe, 38, who died suddenly of an attack of heart disease at his home here Monday evening. Service was in charge of the Rev. Joseph Gregor assisted by the Rev. Harold Connor, Lost Nation. Mrs. Frank Kolarik, Miss Ida Bisek, Frank Kolarik and Ed Sazma sang the requiem mass, with Mrs. Frank Kulhavy at the organ.

Pallbearers were all cousins of the deceased, Ben Roling, Joe Roling, Arthur Roling and Bernard Roling, Ben Kueter and Donald Kueter, all of Bellevue. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Floyd Soppe was born at Bellevue, May 14, 1908, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Soppe. He was married to Marjorie Robinson, Welton, Feb. 3, 1940, who survives with three children, John, Thomas and Mary Ann, also his mother, Mrs. J. H. Soppe, and a brother, Wilbur, all of Oxford Junction.

Relatives from out of town who attended the service were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Robinson and family, Beth Maltas, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ruggeberg, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Seyfert, Harvey Robinson, Sylvester Robinson, Mrs. LaVern Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Maltas, Mrs. T. B. Maltas, F. S. Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Knight and Seaman Darrell Knight, all of Welton; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Roling, Josephine Haverland, Herman Soppe, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Kueter, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ley, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Roling, Miss Francis Roling and Louis Haxmeyer, all of Bellevue.
