Funeral service for Leslie R. Baker, 23, who died Monday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, is being held this Thursday afternoon at the Waubeek church, with the Rev. Benjamin J. Shaw in charge. Loder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his father, Enos Baker; stepmother; one sister, Elizabeth, at home; and seven brothers, Albert, California; Virgil, Nevada, Mo.; Joe, Perry, Mo.; Homer, Bartlesville, Okla.; Sherrill, Mechanicsville; James and Arthur, Central City; three half-sisters, Robert Baker, Loretta Chappell, at home; and Eleanor Gunther, Pattersonville, Mo.; and a step-brother, Harvey Shappell, at home.
