Short funeral service for Clifford Andresen, 38, who died Wednesday at the University hospital in Iowa City, where he had been a patient for the past two months, was held at the Smykil Funeral home Thursday afternoon.

Later service was planned at the burial plot of his parents in the western part of the state, pending arrival of a sister from Dubuque.

He lived alone on the west edge of Anamosa.
