ONSLOW - Burial service was held for James Albert Echler, 77, who died after a brief illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Blosch, near Palo where he had made his home. Born near Onslow, July 19, 1867, he operated farms at Onslow, Manchester and Winthrop. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Blosch, are two sons, Ray, Dubuque, and William, Detroit, Mich., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Service was held Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Sarchett funeral chapel in Center Point, the Rev. E. H. Heverly officiating. Burial was at Clay township cemetery, north of Onslow.
