WYOMING - Brief committal service was held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wyoming cemetery for Ruth Cook Anderson, 44, who died Thursday morning after a brief illness at Mercy hospital, Davenport. Funeral service was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Runge chapel in Davenport.

Deceased was a daughter of Mrs. Hallie Cook and the late Harry Cook, Wyoming. She attended the Wyoming schools, and while living in Wyoming was a member of the Presbyterian church. For the last several years the home has been in Davenport.

Survivors are seven children: Pvt. Lowell Anderson, in service; Mrs. Jean Estes, Davenport; Alberta Anderson, WAVE, stationed at Oxford, Ohio; Wayne Anderson, Davenport; Elaine, Douglas and Joan, all at home in Davenport; her mother, four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Weasemer, Mrs. Mabel Amend, Mrs. Helen Rearick, Mrs. Maxine Vittengl.
