OLIN - Funeral services for Fritz Engleking, 74, who died last Saturday at his home in Olin, was held this Wednesday afternoon at the Campbell Funeral home.

Rev. William Strait of Methodist church officiated. Pallbearers were Henry, Carl and William Hansen, Ed Grimm, Howard and Raymond Biere. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

He was born Jan. 6, 1870, in Estorff, Germany. He came to the United States in 1888, making his home with an uncle at Clarence.

Oct. 26, 1898 he married Emma Hoffmaster, Clarence. Couple operated a farm near Clarence until 1902, when they moved to Olin, where they have since made their home.

Surviving are three children, Arthur, Frederick, and Mrs. Esther Harvey, Olin; one grandson, Eugene Engleking, Olin; and three brothers, Charles, Lisbon; Henry, Long Beach, Calif.; and William, St. James, Minn. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
