Brief funeral service for Mrs. Naomi Barkley, 79, who died early Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. M. Miller, was held Tuesday afternoon at the Beam & Miller chapel. Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple officiated. Second service was held in Des Moines where interment was made.

Mrs. Naomi Barkley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Howard, was born at Clyde, Ohio, August 19, 1864. She came to Iowa with her parents when five years old, and lived in the Garden Grove vicinity.

March 26, 1882 she was married to William T. Barkley, who preceded her in death. Four daughters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, W. T. Barkley, Des Moines; and one daughter, Mrs. T. M. Miller, Anamosa; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
