Brief prayer service was held at the Beam and Miller chapel Wednesday afternoon for Albert E. Pelton,79, who died Sunday at his home in Minneapolis, Minn. Rev. H. E. Dalrymple was the officiating minister at the chapel and at Riverside cemetery where interment was made.

Pelton was a pioneer resident of Iowa, and most of his life was spent as a railroad man. Surviving are his wife, four children, Pearl, Nora, Milo and Carl.

One son, Harold preceded him in death. Also surviving are his daughter-in-law and four grandchildren.

His two sons, a son-in-law and grandson served as pallbearers.
