OXFORD JUNCTION - Funeral service for Stella H. Bizek was held Thursday afternoon from the Hayden Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Fred C. Maurer of the English Lutheran church conducted the service, with Lilac Camp of the Royal Neighbor lodge in charge at the grave. Ladies trio sang, "Jesus is Wonderful," "Beyond the Sunset" and "Have Thine Own Way, Lord." Pallbearers were Michael Souhrada, Fred Wasoba, Frank Nowachek, Fred Harms, Frank Koranda and Joseph Kropek. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Stella Helen Bizek was born at Stone City, Aug. 28, 1905, daughter of John and Helen Bizek. She had lived most of her life here until six months ago when she went to Davenport, where she was employed. She died Monday, Sept. 4, at 10 p.m. at Mercy hospital, Davenport, after a few hours illness from a cerebral hemmorhage.

Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lillian Morehouse, San Bernardina, Calif.

Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. John Nowachek, Cedar Rapids; John Fritz, and Mrs. Edward Fritz and daughter, Judith, Monmouth; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Woelters, sr., Davenport.
