OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Albert (Delpha) Franklin, 63, died Tuesday, June 9, at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, at 2 p.m., at the Methodist church, Oxford Junction. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, Delmar. Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin had made Oxford Junction their home for several years. Mr. Franklin was manager of the Joyce Lumber Co. He preceded his wife in death in 1960.

Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Franklin taught school for two years in Wyoming, and one year in southern Illinois. Last year she went to New Mexico to make her home with a daughter and sister, and taught at Estancia while there.

She was visiting a daughter in North English when she was taken ill.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Van Franklin, Albuquerque, N.M., and Nancy, Mrs. Bruce Tarbox, North English; a son, Richard, Des Moines; a sister, Marion, Albuquerque, and six grandchildren.
