Thomas M. Stahl, 58, former resident of Anamosa, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 24, at his home in Marion.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27, at 2 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa. Rev. Walter Wigger conducted the service. Burial was in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Mount Vernon.

Pallbearers included guardsmen from Collins Radio Co., including Willis Doden, Jack Meier, Donald Crowley, Earl Husman, Robert Adsit and Virgil Koss.

He worked at Collins Radio Co., Cedar Rapids, as a guard for the last several years, and was formerly a member of the police staff in Anamosa. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, his father, Ernest Stahl, Anamosa; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Larson, Martelle, and Florence, Mrs. Joe Hurt, Cedar Rapids.
